Choosing a designer can be a pretty daunting task, and our approach won’t be the right fit for everyone. We won’t be the cheapest or fastest option, and we may not even be the best— but our aim is quality with longevity. We hope for you to utilize what we create together in some form for the duration of your business. We believe our investments matter.

We practice from a theme central to the life of French writer, poet laureate, aristocrat, journalist and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupery:

To ensure we’re on the same page about the essence of what we’re trying to capture with your brand story, we will work from a Creative Brief and a mood board that we build together: both will guide us throughout our process.

In the beginning of development, we work strictly in greyscale, mostly with pen and paper. Sometimes this phase involves paint, paper, collected objects from nature, or whatever else may drive our uniquely unpredictable discovery process. Since color can drive emotion, we won’t introduce it into the process until your final logomark is selected.

Each of the identity packages we offer have been designed to operate like building blocks, with details like patterning, iconography, printed suites, marketing copy, digital experiences, environmental art and signage, social activations, or other additional work— all stemming from that foundation of your logomark.
